The Good News

Being struck by a deadly disease does give one time to think about what comes next?  And all of mankind will face that question sooner or later. There's no way out of this world and into the next except through death.

So, since you've been given a wake-up call, what will happen to you when this earthly body fails? (Whether in 6 months or 60 years.)

Now is the time to settle this question.

Can you have the assurance of eternal life? Yes. Through Jesus and His shed blood, I have the assurance that I have eternal life.

Can anyone have that assurance? Yes.  For whoever calls on the Name of the Lord, Jesus, and believes on Him, shall be saved.  

John 3:16  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosever believeth on Him (Jesus) should not perish, but have eternal life.

Did  you see that?  Whosoever - anyone. The free gift of salvation is available to any one who asks.

Don't let another day or moment go by. 

Pray aloud - Father in heaven, forgive me for my sins. I want to know You. I open my heart to You and ask you to come in. I ask for the assurance of eternal life.  I believe Jesus is the Son of God. I believe He died for my sins and rose again from the dead to everlasting life. Amen.

Rejoice and welcome. You are now a child of God.

In a nutshell - God's Word says that mankind was never meant to live without God. A good place to start is the book of John.  

Psalms are great for comfort.
